Synergy Architects as a practice goes back to 1991, when it was formed as Design Büro. The practice quickly established a strong reputation and expanded, diverging to establish three separate offices in 1997, when Design Büro (Leamington Spa) came into being. Although we have retained close links with the other offices, over the years the practice has forged its own identity. After 10 successful years we decided it was time for a fresh image and a new name that better reflected our identity and values. In the spring of 2008, Design Büro (Leamington Spa) became Synergy Architects.

Our office occupies part of the elegant terrace of Euston Place in the beautiful Regency heart of Leamington Spa. Our central location means we are within easy reach of all parts of the country, allowing us to provide a high level of attention on all projects, wherever they are.

For each project we form a team of designers and technicians of appropriate size and expertise. Our relatively flat management structure allows a principal to be directly involved throughout every project. This system provides clarity and continuity for clients, and reduces communication routes.

We encourage the development of employees’ skills and the practice is committed to investing in staff training. We offer financial support for professional qualification courses and have a regular programme of CPD seminars.

The practice runs an Apple-based network, operating Vectorworks on iMacs to produce most architectural information, with a range of 3D, graphics and desktop publishing software in support. The option of in-house or out-sourced visualization is a valuable tool that can provide clients with a much greater understanding of both design proposals and their own requirements. Vectorworks has the capability to import, export and create files and images compatible with most common CAD systems and file formats (eg .dwg, .dxf, JPEG and PDF). By regularly updating the operating system and software we are able to maintain compatibility with other systems.
